EDUCATION AND OUR MISSIONTheater teaches essential skills that foster empathy and effective interactions with others. Our mission at City on a Hill Arts is to encourage powerful dialogue through the art of storytelling to expose the juxtaposition between our beliefs and our culture.
Storytelling is one of the simplest and perhaps most compelling forms of dramatic and imaginative activity. We are invested in storytelling as not only an artform, but as a means to educate through the human spirit and encourage other to tell their stories. |

|
This piece, written by Stan Zimmerman (The Golden Girls, Roseanne, Gilmore Girls), brings to life the last words written in letters by individuals lost to suicide — including celebrities, veterans, kids that were bullied, LGBTQ, and the clinically depressed — and those who have survived suicide attempts. Since its acclaimed first performance at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2015, the play has traveled across the country, raising awareness and offering hope for suicide prevention.
