Debbie Moylan - Executive Director
Debbie Moylan is pastor by day and a creative by night. Prior to serving in ministry, Debbie was the General Manager of Shear Madness, the longest running theater production in the United States. She is also the former Marketing Director of American Stage Festival, and Company Manager for Merrimack Repertory Theater. She performs locally with various theater groups, and received her acting training through CP Casting and Acting Studio, Boston. Some of her favorite roles include Truvy in Steel Magnolias, Sr. Aloysius in Doubt, Judy Garland in Legends and Bridge, Charlotte in Moon Over Buffalo, Mrs. Daigle in The Bad Seed, Martha in White Christmas and Sonja in Godspell. Debbie received her Master’s Degree (Theology and the Arts) from Andover Newton Theological School in 2001. She studied Music Management and received her Bachelor’s in Music at the Hartt School (University of Hartford) in 1987. She is currently working on her doctorate through Fuller Theological in Pasadena, CA. Her heart's desire is to help the young and the not so young develop and deploy their gifts to the glory of God.

Bethany Johnson - Board Member/Artistic Direction
Bethany Johnson is an artist, educator and yogi hailing from North Central Massachusetts. Bethany received her undergraduate degree in Television and Film from the University of Tulsa and holds a Masters Degree in Arts and Learning from Endicott College. She has been acting and directing for more than two decades, and has devoted her life to educating teens through the arts. Over the past 5 years Bethany has performed with Theatre at the Mount, City on a Hill Arts and New Players Theatre Guild. Some of her favorite portrayals have been Gabriella in Boeing Boeing, Anabella De Leon in Seven and most recently Ouiser in Steel Magnolias. In addition to teaching and acting, she has been directing the theatre program at Monty Tech since 2013. Bethany believes in the authenticity and humility of the storytelling that theatre brings to our lives; it allows us to connect and experience life and people in ways that celebrate our differences and our humanity, and for that she will be forever grateful.

David Allen Prescott - Board Member/Set Design/Artistic Direction
David is an actor, designer, and director who has worked with professional and community theaters in Central Massachusetts for over 20 years. He has received EMACT DASH nominations for performances, scenic design, hair and makeup design, and costume design for his work with Theatre at the Mount, Theatre III, and Concord Players. City on a Hill audiences know him as the scenic designer of Doubt, Seven, and The Crucible, and his performances as Father Flynn and John Proctor. He resides in Gardner with his wife and three children.

Sarah Arel - Board Member/Administrative Support
Sarah has always been passionate about theatre since her early childhood. Her strength is being a support in so many ways, so you can usually find her backstage or front of house, making sure that everything is moving smoothly. Sarah has incredible attention to detail and desires that everything be done in a spirit of excellence. She had stage managed or been props mistress for Screwtape, Doubt and Seven with City on a Hill, as well as danced in A Tale of Three Trees before moving to the Cape in 2021. She is a previous TAMY judge, and values everyone's talents and energy in a production, all the while striving to enhance the overall experience. Sarah is grateful that City on a Hill Arts has opened the doors to personal growth and empowerment for all, both on and off the stage.

Jack Crory - Board Member
Jack directed City on a Hill's production of The Secretary and acted in Diary of Anne Frank, The Laramie Project, and right before i go. He was previously the board president of The Forge Theater Lab at Fitchburg State University, where he helped develop a number of new plays from 2018-2022. He teaches writing and speech classes at Fitchburg State.
